Proud Spirit

Are you happy with yourself right now? Do you take good care of your mind and body? It surprises me just how many people take regular exercise and eat healthy foods, yet don’t spend time improving their spirit, or higher self as it’s sometimes called.

Although it is important to take care of your physical body, it is just as important to spend time nurturing your spirit. You can do this by taking regular meditation; during meditation you become closer to your higher self. You will notice, when practising regular meditation, that you feel lighter and more refreshed. The worries and burdens of modern life don’t seem to weigh you down as much. This is because your spirit is light and wants to enjoy happiness and freedom. Your spirit is the part of you that is connected to your higher self. It is the part of you that will leave your body, when it is your time, and return to the spirit world. Your physical body is merely a home for the real you – the spirit inside your physical body.
