For a long time now I have wanted to do my own thing. By that I mean write inspirational blogs, speak and inspire people, yet every time I get an opportunity to step up, the voice in my head gets louder ‘who would want to listen’, ‘what have you got to say that people would want to hear.’
Having come from a dark place to one where there is now light, I figure if I can help one person with my journey then I will have achieved something. I am learning that rather than focusing on ourselves and our feelings of inadequacy we need to focus on the bigger picture and who we can help and how we can serve.

This trait has helped us evolve as a species meaning we are always striving for more but it also leads us to never being satisfied. In today’s day and age we are being bombarded with unrealistic lifestyle images from the media making us think that we are under privileged if we are not rich and famous and living a Posh and Becks lifestyle.

The problem with many people is they would rather listen to the noise of the world, what their friends or peers think rather than listen to their own needs. Many people can often be put off going for a job, or a new pursuit, just because they worry about what others will think. You could be interested in spirituality or Religion, but fear being ridiculed, just because you have entertained the thought of visiting a church or temple.
I know many people like this, I was one myself in my younger days, too busy making fun of everything to have the time to take anything too serious.
