Understanding Spiritual Entities

Spiritualists believe, that the world of spirit is all around us. That is exists on a parallel dimension to the physical world. The reason why for the most part we cannot see spirit all the time or interact with it, is because it exists on a different vibrational level to our own. To explain more clearly what this means; The universe is made of energy. Everything around you is energy when broken down to it’s purest form of subatomic particles including yourself. Energy cannot be totally destroyed, it just changes form. When you are born, a spark of energy brings you into this world, and within our universe are other dimensions or planes of existence.

Spirit entities are made up of pure light energy, which vibrates at a higher level then the physical world. That is why we do not see them. Having said that some individuals do have the ability to see, feel or hear spirit. These people are called Psychic’s, Psychic Mediums or Clairvoyants.

Seeing Beyond This World

The world as we know it, is made up of varying degrees of density and energy. Some people believe, that there are many layers, dimensions that also exist around us. But by far the most commonly held belief is that of a spirit world. A place that is not in some far off corner of the universe, but within our own world, only on a different plane of existence.

For the majority of people, the dimension of spirit is,  for most of the time invisible. The reason why it is so difficult for all of us to connect with the spirit world,  is because it exists at a higher vibrational rate then that of the physical earth.  Human beings actively live and communicate at a much lower rate. But, for a gifted few, who have the ability to bridge the gap between the physical  world and the next, they are able to see, hear and communicate with those who live and dwell in that place.

Have you ever visited a special place, a place of power and energy. A holy shrine; standing stones; often built on energy or ley lines chosen especially for their ability to amplify spiritual and psychic energy.  Or a place of incredible natural beauty.  The air is so still and quiet, except for the natural sounds around you. All your senses are incredibly heightened. Just for a moment, you feel a tingling sensation and catch sight of something just out of the corner of your eye. You try to focus on it, but it slips just out of your line of vision. I believe these places are natural portals or doorways between this world and the spirit world.  Just for a moment we get a glimpse of the other-side. The conditions are just right for the innate psychic awareness I believe we all have, to come to the surface.

What Are Dreams

Defining dreams as ‘visions during sleep’ may describe what occurs, but this does not explain what they are. Undoubtedly, they are experiences real enough to produce strong psychological and physiological responses in a person. The nightmare, for example, produces the flight or fight mechanism, with its accompanying increase in blood pressure and heart rate, and even sleep-walking, in readiness for physical action. The passionate dream of a lover, renowned for its emotional and biological effects, is a further example, yet these dreams are not reality.

Sometimes events from the previous day are in our thoughts as we drop off to sleep, so not surprisingly these scenes are re-enacted as literal dreams, in the hope of extracting further information from what has already happened. Reliving events in this way has been suggested as a reason for dreaming, but this is only one aspect. The dream reflecting a foreign land the dreamer has never heard of, or the weird and wonderful mansion to which the dreamer returns night after night, demolishes any such simplistic explanation.

Dealing With Death

Dealing with the death of a loved one is by far one of the hardest things you will ever have to live with. Losing a parent, spouse, sibling or even children can be devastatingly painful. Many of us understand that dying in itself is a natural part of life, yet we can still be overcome by shock and confusion, which sometimes lead to bouts of sadness or depression. With time, the intense feeling of sadness typically diminishes. However, the important thing to note is that grieving is an important process in order to overcome your loss. You can start by focusing on the wonderful experiences you had with your loved one.

Everyone reacts differently when it comes to coping with the death of a loved one. Some prefer support groups while others chose to seek out metaphysical avenues such as physics and or mediums to try and connect with their loved ones on the other side. The good thing is that you have many options to help you through the death and dying stages. It may take quite a few months or even years to come to terms with losing a loved one. There is no “standard” time for someone to grieve. Don’t expect to pass through the phases quickly, it takes time especially if you had a difficult relationship with the deceased.

Many Lives Many Destinies

Reincarnation is a subject that divides many people; you either believe in it or you don’t; although, I feel that some people don’t like to admit their belief in case they sound crazy. In many Indian and Asian countries, reincarnation is a way of life; people know they are going to be reborn and so they choose how they live their lives accordingly, so that they come back into their new life with plenty of opportunities for health, wealth, happiness and success. They know that what they do in this life will have repercussions for their next incarnation.

Here in the Western world, a lot of people don’t do this because they doubt reincarnation exists. Whether you believe in it or not, doesn’t it make sense to be the best person you can in this life, anyway? I have always striven to be a kind, generous and helpful person, who thinks about others’ feelings and treats others how I wish to be treated. I feel the world would be a much better place if everybody did this.

Life Is For The Living

We all need reminding at times that we are here to live a life, to find our destiny and to enjoy ourselves along the way. This life was not meant to be lived in constant worry, forget yesterdays pains, focus on the love that you can put into this moment instead.

Surely this moment is “the real life” what has gone has gone, what is in-front of us, is yet to be lived. Only in this moment do we truly live. You can never die, even in the spirit world you continue to live, you continue to evolve every aspect of your being.
