Deja vu, is a term that was first coined by the French psychic researcher, Emile Boirac. Deja vu means ‘already seen’ – and is also called ‘paramnesia’. Deja vu is often used to describe the feeling that comes over you, when you are in a situation that you feel like you’ve been in before, but haven’t. It is a sensation that can be triggered by visiting somewhere for the first time.
Or having a conversation with someone. This feeling can be incredibly strong, often giving people cause to stop in their tracks. They rack their brains to try to remember if it is something that has actually happened. And when they realize that it hasn’t, it can be very disconcerting.

As human beings we are all creatures of habit and routine. Though we may yearn at times for things to liven up a little, or for some excitement to occur. That is why when we experience great change and adversity; such as a relationship breaking down; a job loss; serious illness or bereavement It can feel as if our whole world has been turned upside down.
The frightening thing about these types of situations, is that the individual feels they no longer have any control over their lives. Life has sped up and not in a good way. Whilst it is true that we can be overtaken by unexpected events. It is not true that we don’t have any control over them. Because we do. Though we cannot change what is happening, we can control how we choose to ‘react’ to it.

A forward thinking person, is someone who not only can be defined as an individual who plans for the future. But could also be described as a ‘Visionary’. Someone who believes they have a purpose in life. Or has a vision they believe in for the future. A future that they would like to see, come to fruition. This vision can stretch from encompassing themselves and their loved ones. To the whole world.
Spiritually, we often talk about not living in the past or worrying about the future. That the only thing that is of real importance, is what is happening here and now, in the present. While I believe this to be true from a mindfulness and awareness of life point of view. It does not mean that we cannot make plans for the future.

It is said, that the lines on your hands can be likened to a ‘road map’ of your life. For those who have the ability to read that map, they can read you like an open book. Where you have been, what kind of person you are and who you have become. It can show the state of your health, the illnesses you have had; your luck in love; your creative and spiritual potential; the direction in which you are going & any potential pitfalls ahead.
Palmistry, also called chiromancy or chirosophy, reading of character and divination of the future by interpretation of lines and undulations on the palm of the hand. The origins of palmistry are uncertain. It may have begun in ancient India and spread from there. It was probably from their original Indian home that the traditional fortune-telling of the Roma (Gypsies) was derived. The chiromantic art has been known in China, Tibet, Persia, Mesopotamia, and Egypt, and it underwent significant development in ancient Greece.
