For a long time now I have wanted to do my own thing. By that I mean write inspirational blogs, speak and inspire people, yet every time I get an opportunity to step up, the voice in my head gets louder ‘who would want to listen’, ‘what have you got to say that people would want to hear.’
Having come from a dark place to one where there is now light, I figure if I can help one person with my journey then I will have achieved something. I am learning that rather than focusing on ourselves and our feelings of inadequacy we need to focus on the bigger picture and who we can help and how we can serve.

The problem with many people is they would rather listen to the noise of the world, what their friends or peers think rather than listen to their own needs. Many people can often be put off going for a job, or a new pursuit, just because they worry about what others will think. You could be interested in spirituality or Religion, but fear being ridiculed, just because you have entertained the thought of visiting a church or temple.
I know many people like this, I was one myself in my younger days, too busy making fun of everything to have the time to take anything too serious.

How many times have you heard the saying, ‘ don’t let your heart rule your head’? A lot of people today think that it is better to make decisions using your head. Some people don’t understand intuition, or gut feeling, and believe that the mind is superior to the heart. It is true that the mind does have a lot of power over our lives; however, the heart can be just as powerful.
If you are a Christian, you will be familiar with the Bible and it’s message that love is one of the most important things in life. It teaches us to treat others as we wish to be treated, to love one another and to forgive those who have wronged us. All of these things relate to our hearts, not our minds. Our minds may help us to navigate through life, but our hearts are the ones in control. When you make a decision, do you do it because it will help you to think better or to improve your intelligence? Not usually, I would suspect. Most people make decisions because they want to feel happier and our hearts know what really makes us happy.
Some people argue that the heart and the soul are either one and the same, or are connected in some way. Others believe the soul lies somewhere in the brain. As we are spiritual beings living in a physical body, we can argue that the heart and the brain are both physical organs that have nothing to do with our spirituality, as we won’t need our bodies when we go to the Spirit World; however, as the soul is pure energy that lives on after death, then we can argue that the soul is a loving energy that resonates with the heart.

Deep within you is a soft small voice, that constantly strives to be heard over the incessant chatter of your mind. This voice is the one who knows the silent yearnings of your heart and soul; The one, who if you would only listen can help to guide you safely through your life’s journey.
The inner voice, also known as the intuitive or higher self. Is that part of you that is eternally connected to the universal consciousness. The universal consciousness can be likened to a continuous river of intuitive and psychic energy, that you are able to tap into any time you need it. Within it lies all the wisdom and experience that you have accumulated through previous lives. As well as the accumulated spiritual wisdom of enlightened beings and spiritual masters. At its head is the source of all things, the Christ consciousness; The divine, an eternal spring of creation and pure, unconditional love.
There is no need to seek out other people, to ask for their thoughts and opinions on your life situation. For all the answers already lie within you. How can someone else know, what is right for you. They have not lived your life or walked in your shoes. Though we may believe, that other people, seem to have all the answers, rarely do they! They struggle with the same problems as you do, and like you mistakenly think that others know more or better then they do.

When Mankind first walked on this earth, before there was religion, before there was fire; there was spiritual belief. To Early man, all life was a mystery; he lived off the land gathering in the spring hunting through the summer, gathering in the autumn, and hoping to survive the elements through the winter. They would express themselves with a primitive and natural curiosity about life and having no scientific explanations to confuse or block out their finely tuned instincts. They listened to and trusted their ‘gut instincts’ their intuition. For often it would save their lives. They never questioned it, they accepted it naturally and would often see ‘signs’ in the animal and natural world as confirmation.
However it is clear that their spiritual beliefs come from more then just a reverence for nature. It amounted to actually interacting with nature in a spiritual way. We have found evidence of this in items discovered that show that early man had evolved he could hear the spirit world and could communicate spiritually on a regular basis. It might be said that it was their harsh living conditions and circumstances that were responsible for this phenomenon to occur. As few modern men/women can comprehend or understand just how difficult life was then. Guidance and blessings were often sought and miracles were undoubtedly more commonplace. Early man was definitely more in tune with the spirit world and their souls then we are today.
